Narrative description of Project

The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency (RURA) is an apex body of Government of Rwanda responsible for regulating Telecommunications, electricity, water, removal of waste products from residential or business premises, extraction and distribution of gas and transport of goods and persons and other public utilities. In order to meet the desired objectives and future need RURA intended to develop a State-of-the-art Twin Tower building in Kigali, Rwanda. The building shall house all the important offices, a 500 seater auditorium, conferencing facilities, rental spaces, etc.
The proposed centrally air-conditioned building has been designed on the basis of sustainable international design principles, including neat internal power and communications network, health & safety, security as required by the international standards with appropriate landscaping / horticulture development, rain water harvesting etc. While designing this building special provisions were given for elderly and physically disabled persons.
