Narrative description of Project

The Government of India (GoI) has announced a National Manufacturing Policy, 2011, with the objective of enhancing the share of manufacturing in GDP to 25% within a decade and creating 100 million jobs. As per the Policy, “NIMZs will be developed as integrated industrial townships with state-of-the art infrastructure and land use on the basis of zoning; clean and energy efficient technology; necessary social infrastructure; skill development facilities, etc.”

In pursuit of taking forward the GoI initiative, Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) proposed to develop NIMZ at Prakasam District. The proposed industrial park occupies an area of about 14,000 acres.

Under this project, scope of submissions are the following:

Inception Report, Market Demand Report, Draft Conceptual Master Plan, Final Master Plan, Geo-technical Investigation Report and Conceptual Building Plans with Block cost estimates, Draft detailed design and cost estimates for infrastructure development, Detailed working drawings, designs, bill of quantities and cost estimates and obtaining Environmental Clearance.
