Narrative description of Project

The World Bank Country Office in Burkina Faso is developing their new office building in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. A land measuring 5,500 SQMT has been acquired by World Bank for development of the same. The proposed new office building is designed to accommodate 60 staff with a total floor area of 2,500 SQMT (25000 SQFT). The building is designed on LEED Silver principles. The new office building comprises of fit-out open and enclosed offices, front office area, lobby and security control, variable and flexible conference rooms, visiting mission’s space, workrooms (fax, mail, copiers), kitchen and dining facility, communication rooms, files rooms, storage rooms, driver’s room, guards room, machine room, toilets. The building also has comprehensive security system, CCTV and access control, guard house, parking for approximately 65 vehicles (indoor and onsite), roads and access control system.

The scope of work comprises of providing Architecture & Engineering design services for construction of the office core and shell building including basement, interior fit-outs, guard house, perimeter walls, site works, MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing), Data communication, Security systems, landscaping and comprehensive acoustic and IT / A V systems.
