Narrative description of Project

• REC has been designated as the nodal agency for implementation of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) and Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana – SAUBHAGYA projects. It has appointed Voyants Solutions Private Limited as REC Quality monitoring of village electrification works under Rural Electricity Distribution backbone and household electrification under RE-Component DDUGJY in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, J&K, UP, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Bihar, Manipur, Sikkim
• Inspection of the villages (20% in each district) along with the associated habitations covered in the projects are to be inspected.
• Material inspection & testing at manufacturer’s works, quality of execution of project at site, checking of BOQ at site.
• Review of records of Substation material such as Power Transformer, Circuit Breaker, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, Capacitor Bank if any, Isolator, Lighting Arrester, Control & Relay Panel, Battery Bank etc.
• Review of records of all types of materials pertaining to village electrification such as Distribution Transformer, Energy Meter, Poles, Conductor, Insulator, Lighting Arrester, Cables etc.
• Monitor site activities for compliance with quality/ safety standards and statutory requirements; take actions to correct non conformances.
