Narrative description of Project

• JNPT intends to explore the feasibility of setting up Dry Port as Sangli District in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes Site assessment for Location 1 (920 Ha / 2280 Acres) for development of Multimodal Logistics Park and Location 2 (91Ha / 225 Acres) for proposed Dry port with Traffic/Demand assessment with Hinterland and O-D Survey from EXIM and Domestic cargo perspective and Stakeholder Consultation programme.

• Taking this into account, Facility planning and Equipment planning for efficient operation of Dry Port with suggested planning layouts. Estimated land requirement with Title clear assessment and financial estimate for the project were also envisaged.
