In order to improve the cargo handling capacity, creating an effective, efficient, quick and environment friendly cargo handling systems, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port has appointed Voyants for preparing the TEFR for augmentation of 08 nos. of projects through PPP Mode to be implemented both at Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), Haldia & Kolkata Dock System (KDS), Kolkata.

The projects under the study are listed below:

• Project 1: Mechanization of existing Berth no. 05
• Project 2: Mechanization of existing Berth no. 10
• Project 3: Construction of container handling berth outside of impounded dock
• Project 4: Construction & Operation of Ro-Ro cum Cargo Handling jetty at Howrah
• Project 5: Construction of Concrete Jetty for Liquid Cargo Handling at BujBuj
• Project 6: Strengthening & Mechanization of Berth 7, 8 NSD
• Project 7: Mechanization of Berths 4 & 5 NSD
• Project 8: Construction & Mechanization of Container berths at KDS Outer Terminal
