MMLP Bengaluru is proposed to be developed in an area of 400 acres with project outlay of Rs. 1770 crores and shall cater to a cargo potential of 30 MMT by 2068. This MMLP is proposed to have ultramodern facilities like Warehouses, cold storage, intermodal transfers with dedicated rail siding, handling facilities for container terminals, bulk/break-bulk cargo terminals, custom facilities, offices for freight forwarders and transporters, truck terminals, lodging and boarding facilities for truckers. It will also provide commercial facilities like general goods shop, eateries, ATM and banking services. This initiative of NHLML will give impetus to India’s logistics infrastructure which would accelerate freight speed, reduce logistic cost and generate employment.
