Andhra Pradesh stood among the pioneering maritime states to acknowledge the vital necessity for expanding port infrastructure, highlighting the essential role the private sector must undertake in this direction. As part of this endeavour in the development of port infrastructure Govt. of AP – Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board (APMB) decided to undertake development of Greenfield port at Ramayapatnam in Prakasam District.

Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFCL) has granted the loan to Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board for construction of Ramayapatnam Greenfield port, and has appointed Voyants as the Project Management Agency (PMA) covering Technical, Financial and Insurance Audit Services for Ramayapatnam Greenfield Seaport in Andhra Pradesh.
